Alternative Song Title Quiz
Guess the song title from the alternative description given. You can get a clue by revealing the artist if you are really stuck. For example, 'definitive not old individuals' is The (definitive) Young (not old) Ones (individuals). If you have any suggestions for other 'alternative' titles, you should follow these guidelines:
The song must be a well known single that charted, so no album tracks or b sides.
The alternative title should cover all the words in the song title in the correct order.
The alternative title should not contain any of the words in the original title, but the odd 'of' or 'I' is only allowed as a last resort.
The song title should only contain words and no abbreviations or single letter substitutes (so no 2U).
Alternative Film Title Quiz
Guess the film title from the alternative description given. The year the film was released is given as a clue. For example, 'nice looking female (1990)' is Pretty (nice looking) Woman (female). If you have any suggestions for other 'alternative' titles, you should follow these guidelines:
The film must be well known.
The alternative title should cover all the words in the title in the correct order.
The alternative title should not contain any of the words in the original title, but the odd 'of' or 'I' is only allowed as a last resort.
Alternative TV Show Title Quiz
Guess the television show title from the alternative description given. The genre of the show is given as a clue. For example, ‘assigned task too difficult’ is Mission (assigned task) Impossible (task too difficult). If you have any suggestions for other 'alternative' titles, you should follow these guidelines:
The TV show must be well known.
The alternative title should cover all the words in the TV show title in the correct order.
The alternative title should not contain any of the words in the original title, but the odd 'of' or 'I' is only allowed as a last resort.
The TV show title should only contain words and no names unless an alternative clue can be given for the name.
Heroes and Villains True Identity Quiz
It's not really an 'Alternative Title Quiz', but you have to guess the superhero or villain's alias from their true identity name. For example, if the question is 'Clark Kent', then the answer is 'Superman'.
